Basketball Training
Our Goal:
The goal of each lesson is to introduce one or more of the skills listed below during each training. We strive to teach with a clear understanding and to keep skill development simple. We build confidence and have patience with each student until they demonstrate they have an understanding. Anyone can train a student that has skills but it takes real patience and love for the sport to train student that do not have any basketball skills.
We train using the perfect jumper. We encourage parents to attend and observe during sessions. A brief outline of our sessions include several of the following and more listed below:
- Ball Handling Skills
- Jump Stops and Pivots
- Defense
- Dribbling
- Passing
- Lay-ups
- Shooting
- Speed
- Demonstration of Skill
- Skill Development
- Apply Skills through practice-games and Drills
Sesssions are 1 hour, extended at times with no additional charge. Transportation may be available in your area.
Why Did We Get Involved With Basketball Training?
Lora has been training for over 4 years. I started training my son at a young age because it would allow me to build a closer relationship and It was not affordable in my budget as a single parent. After years of training with my son and other student athletes I have decided to train with a reasonable monthly fee.
As a previous high school student athlete I am passion to help assist in college recruitment. Although I am not a professional trainer who has played professional basketball, My son is now attending his 3rd year as a Collegiate Basketball Player in Kansas double majoring in Sports Management and Business. I have other student athletes I have assisted in college placement through the years. When he is home during the summer he joins in with me to teach other student athletes the skill of basketball.
My most passion is to assist in the recruitment process, generating highlight films, marketing media tools for sports presentation and enhancing college opportunities for student athletes. I follow them through school it permitted with the parent.
